Keep Your Humor Readers, Have Fun Learning--Those Who Read Are NEVER Idiots!
The following article gives a balanced view for idiot's guide and dummies readers and their popularity--and some controversy--with the mainstream public (mostly all of us!) But remember, don't judge a book by it's cover, keep your sense of humor and you'll almost be guaranteed to have more fun. These books are written mostly by authors who take their specialty seriously enough to share how to do it with you, while still keeping you entertained! Personally, (as an CIG author) I have never thought of any of my readers to be idiots(!)--just sincere people interested in reading the basics about an interesting topic. Have fun!
