That’s right! I have finally completed my dissertation for my PhD in Holistic Nutrition and am now a bonafide "Doctor of Philosophy". This means that there is a better chance for those of you who come see me who are under medical care to have my services reimbursed! I am happy to fill out a professional statement for you for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. It is best to get your doctor to write you a prescription to do this. Aromatherapy Tips
NSP just came out with a line of quality essential oils. The Regional Herb Meetings had a great speaker who gave us plenty of useful tips on which oils to use for what and how to apply them. Here are some tips to remember:
For Weight Loss
Four drops of grapefruit oil extract in one gallon of water. Drink daily. Complimentary weight loss program from NSP includes Nature’s Thermo Trim (a 30 day complete program).

To Spice Up Your Home For The Holidays
Pine Needle can be sprinkled in your potpourri, in diffuser or in a pot of hot water kept on the stove. You can even add some cinnamon sticks and make it smell really festive!
For Memory
Choose any oil you like—NSP’s oil blend "Focus" would be a good one for this. When you are learning something that you want to remember later, use the oil as a perfume or rub a couple drops on your temples. Only use the particular oil when you study the particular subject. When you want to recall the material at a later date (like for a test), use the same oil you used when you were studying. The aroma will trigger your memory and help you recall the information. Holistic Practitioner Certification Programs Coming To Your Town
I have recently been hired on by The Tree of Light Institute as one of their traveling instructors to teach certified natural health classes. Each of the classes build on each other. The classes are two days of in class time, and the rest is completed on your own via correspondence. Childhood Vaccinations—Something Serious To Think About
The Complete Idiot’s Guides will not be the last of the Frankie Avalon books you will be seeing. I have several others up my sleeve in this series. Also I plan to publish my dissertation. This manual will be a guide for all parents to become aware of the vaccination decision. It gives my philosophy of natural health, and tells you why vaccinations are even a concern to begin with.
For instance, did you know that:
- There have not been any serious, organized efforts by the medical community to track the long term, negative side effects of the vaccination programs?
- That every recorded person with AIDS has had the Polio vaccine?
- More people suffer with asthma now than ever in history and there is rumor about a component in the DPT shot being linked to asthma
- That researchers have genetically altered bananas and tomatoes to GROW the hepatitis and an intestinal virus vaccine so that when we eat these fruits, the vaccines can be detected in the body?
The overall goal of the book is not to scare parents away from vaccinating, but to help parents make a more informed choice in lieu of the torrid of immunization campaigns and propaganda. The book presents information for each vaccine and informs parents that the decision to vaccinate or not is an incomplete decision. This book specifies what to do to prepare your child nutritionally before a vaccination if you DO vaccinate, and what to do with natural therapies to ensure your child’s health if you decide NOT to vaccinate. It also gives a holistic protocol for each childhood illness that you can use to help your child through each of the typical illnesses (measles, chickenpox, mumps, etc.) whether the child was vaccinated for the illness or not.
This book hopefully will serve to empower parents to take more responsibility for their children’s health and help to strengthen our next generation.

Anyone interested in Foot Reflexology should consider coming to my six-week class beginning every Wednesday night, February 10th -March 17th from 7-8:30PM. At Taft Elementary School here in Boise, Idaho.
