Ellen Tart, D.Sc. is a graduate of Appalachian State University, University of New Mexico and Westbrook University. She has studied and worked in the he field of iridology for over 16 years. She has studied nutrition and natural healing methods for over 20 years. She is certified to teach Pre-Certification and Certification classes by the International Iridology Practitioner Association (IIPA). She is also certified in iris analysis by Rayid International. For two years she studied natural healing methods in a health clinic in Switzerland. For four years she wrote articles, edited books and analyzed iris slides with Dr. Bernard Jensen. She authors courses and is an instructor and Dean of the School of Iridology for Westbrook University. She serves as the President of the IIPA. She teaches classes in iridology, nutrition, herbology, and healing through mind/body techniques throughout the US as well as Canada, Australia and Central and South America. Ellen's IIPA's approved classes lead to certification count as credit hours at Westbrook University, and toward certification through the IIPA (also listed on this page).

I studied Iridology under "Common Sense" owned by Tim Morrow in Hawthorne, California. I have also written a manual and tested it with Dr. Joyce Young, who has been practicing this method for many, many years. When my customer wishes to become vegetarians or just start eating healthy, I teach them how to prepare and balance their foods and which food supplements to take to ensure that they are getting enough of the required nutrients. I use New Body's food supplements. I also take Miranda's Noni Juice. I also have some customer who use and believe in Nature Sunshine products therefore, I became a distributor for Nature Sunshine Products, Inc..

Hellenic Medical School of Iridology
The School functions one Sunday per month, for 3 hours every time (for 2 years) and it includes both theory and practice, in the total number of 100 hours. Doctors, osteopathics, physiotherapists, naturopathics, psychologists and generally individuals that are occupied with alternative medicine may attend the lessons. Italian, Russian and Greek Iridology doctors teach. At the end of the courses, and after successful exams, it is given a diploma. Especially, doctors will receive the diploma of the Medical School of the Russian People's Friendship University of Moscow.
